Guangxi Rongyuan Hydropower Project (Fushi Phase II)

The site construction of Guangxi Rongyuan Hydropower Project (also known as Rongan Hydropower Station) started on Oct 20, 2011. Rongyuan Hydropower Project fully utilizes the excess water after meeting the generation demand at Fushi Hydropower Station (3X18MW). The project consists of one 18 MW unit. MPC owns 100% of the expansion project. The commercial operation of this project is expected in the first half of 2013.

The planning of Rongyuan Hydropower Project began in 2008. This project received full governmental supports from Guangxi Autonomous Region, City of Liuzhou, County of Rongan & Rongshui. With the support of MPC, our Fushi Project Team overcame numerous difficulties to achieve the construction startup. This project will make contribution to local economy and add new renewable energy development for MPC.
